I'm not good with bad blood though the problem isn't so much the extending an apology, it's more that there's no guarantee that this person will have grown enough to look at your message without some sick sense of victory and mock the mere fact that you felt like you owed and swallowed the pride you barely have. You can't know if they'll accept your words or use it like a badge of honour and sit there in their superiority when all you wanted was to put the pettiness of the past away with the other stupid shit you did as a child.
